Share a link- employers

Share-Link allows you to share a link to file, folder or even videos.
INSTRUCTIONS for EMPLOYERS:
How to Share a Link of your Profile or Resumes or cover letters when applying for the job?
PreReq -Steps:
- Login to the Job Board – Click Here < http://jobs.accountancy-group.com/my-account>
- Go to “My Account Details” under “MY ACCOUNT” menu
- Make sure your company & personal details like – Name, Address, About Me, Social Links, Picture and PDF Company Profile are up to date.
Notification – whenever you change your PDF Profile (listed at the bottom of My Accounts Detail) then it will be automatically changed everywhere even in the previous listings proposals you applied for. It is a best deal for employers as you do not have to re-submit the proposals every time with new profile. Just update the pdf it is will be available to everyone immediately. If you want to use the multiple documents and links sharing then DropBox/GoogleDrive/OneDrive are best choices.
- Search for the Job- Seekers or other Jobs
- You perform basic search
- You can search by MAP Location
- Use Advance search
- ASK Question – If you have a question on the particular Job-seeker Profile or other jobs than simply use “Email Author” option and write a private email to author or if you do not mind going public and helping others with same question then use “Leave Comment “ section above the “Submit Proposal” or “Submit Application” section. Make sure to rate the job-seeker profile, job & company. REMEMBER – TEAM SPRIT always wins all the RACES.

- Remember – You are allowed to post multiple files and videos when you create a new job listing. You can use share-link option if you want to provide additional documentations along with the listing uploads.
Google Drive Share a Link
Share a link to a file or a folder
To give other people access to a file or folder, you can send them a link to open and access the item.
- Sign in to Google Drive or a Docs, Sheets, or Slides home screen.
- Open the file or folder you want to get a link for.
- Click Share for files or the
Share icon for folders in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Copy the link at the top of the box.
- Send the link to another person or mailing list in an email or chat.
One Drive Share a Link
- On the OneDrive website:Pick the file or folder you want to share by selecting the check box in the upper-right corner of the item. You can also pick multiple items to share them together.
- Tap or click Share on the bar at the top of the page, and then choose a share option:
- Get a link- Choose this option to share items with lots of people you might not even know personally. For example, you can use these links to post to Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn. You can also use them to share in email or IM, but you won’t have as much control over individual permissions.
- Choose the type of link you want. The permissions for the item are automatically updated when you create the link.
- View only – When you share items with this type of link, people can view your items without signing in. They can also forward the link to other people.
- Edit – When you share items with this type of link, people can view your items and use Office Online to edit Office documents, all without signing in. To make other edits, like adding or deleting files in a folder, people need to sign in with a Microsoft account. People can forward an edit link to other people, and anyone who receives the link will also be able to edit the items.
- Public – A public link is like a View only link, but it also allows anyone to find the shared item by searching. If you choose this option, people will be able to access the item you’re sharing even if you don’t publish the link you get.
- Tap or click Create link.
- To post the link on a social network, tap or click the icon for the social network.
- If you want to include the link in a message with a limited number of characters (like a text message), or share the link in a printed document, tap or click Shorten link to make the URL shorter. This makes the link look nicer and makes it easier for people to enter in a web browser.

Note- Using a shortened link might make it easier for someone to guess the web address to the items you share.
IT IS SAFER TO USE THE LINK RATHER THAN SENDING A WHOLE DOCUMENT AS YOU CAN REMOVE THE DOCUMENT OR LINK WHENEVER YOU WANT.
